CAMP A-STAR is well located in natural surroundings with the sublime Ganges as its
backdrop. The camp, with its private beach and a portion of riverside forest, is a ideal place for
outdoor activities. White water rafting (for anyone over 12 years of age) is the major attraction.
Fun at bonfire and discussions about the rapids and there grades are a must.
Activities like Rock climbing, Rappelling, body Surfing, Canyoning Kayaking & Hiking are all there for the taking. There are plenty of things you can do at Camp Alpinestar Holidays and many good things that we could say about the camp, but one thing is for sure, that the young will feel responsible and the old will feel young and the young at heart will feel at home.
Camp Facilities
Accommodation
The camp provides comfortable accommodation in all weather Swiss Alpine tents. Each tents is
furnished with 2 cots, ground sheet, comfortable bedding, clean linen etc.
Food
We have a full-fledged kitchen that provides you with hot multi-cuisine meals (Indian, Chinese,
Continental and The Local Delicacies) apart from all the cups of tea / coffee you might need.
Sanitation
The bathrooms have 24 hour running water and the toilets are dry pit (in accordance with the Forest
Dept. regulations and the Environmental Code of Conduct). There are separate sanitation facilities
for men & women.
Yoga & Meditation
The peaceful a surroundings of the camp make it a perfect destination to practice Yoga and
Meditation. Feel yourself blending into the natural surroundings.

Our CAMP A-STAR is located on the Rishikesh Devprayag road (245 kms from Delhi/16 kms from Rishikesh ; within 5-6 hours driving time from Delhi) on the banks of the river Ganga, on a sandy river beach and a portion of riverside forest. An excellent getaway from city stress - the tented river camp offers complete outdoor experience with white water rafting at its very best, camp games, solitude, campfire tales, kayaking, abseiling, good food and new found friends. And, for the not so adventurous, a great holiday to put their feet up & relax, with a few lazy walks thrown in. For people with more time on their hands, we recommend self-contained, multi-day rafting expeditions on the tributaries of the holy Ganga, the Alaknanda and Kali rivers, both of which are possible within 6-9 days from Delhi.
