Location : Badal Village, Shivpuri (16 kms form Rishikesh/ 260kms from New Delhi)

  1. Trip Itinerary 2 Days & 1 Night

    Day1:

    Arrive Camp Alpinestar Holidays in the morning. Welcome tea and briefing and familiarization talk by Camp in charge. Allotment of Tents.

    After Breakfast at camp leave for Marine Drive (10kms).

    Reach Marine Drive and get prepared for the day’s action with briefing on Safety and equipment by one of our qualified instructor. Set out on rafts for Camp (10kms)

    After negotiating the thrilling ‘Three Blind Mice’ and ‘Cross Fire’. Reach Camp for hot Lunch. Relax at Camp or play ‘Beach Volley Ball’

    After lunch set out on rafts from camp to Nim beach (18 kms) on this stretch you will be negotiating some of the finest rapids on river Ganges like Roller Coaster and Golf Course also enjoy Body Surfing and Cliff Jumping on this stretch.

    After finishing the river rafting at Nim beach drive back to camp. Tea & snacks.

    Evening, get prepared for the festivities the evening around a bonfire. Enjoy the evening besides the Ganges and feel the nature alive all around you.

    Dinner will be served hot in our dinning area. Now comes the time to say goodnight and end the day.

    Day2:

    Morning tea and cookies will be served at the dinning tent.

    Breakfast will be served at 8 am to 9 am.

    After breakfast leave camp for a session of Rock

    Climbing/Rappelling/Hiking. Return back to Camp for hot lunch.

    After lunch. Own time

    Evening tea and snacks

    Followed by check out.

    6. Floaters/sleepers(Essential).

  3. How to reach 260 kms from Delhi

    By Air:

    The Jolly Grant Airport (Dehradun) is the nearest airport and is connected by flights from Delhi. The drive from the airport to our camp is about 40 minutes and pick up and drop can be organized.

    By Train:

    The nearest railhead to CAMP ALPINESTAR HOLIDAYS is haridwar 40 km away. Haridwar is connected to all parts of the country. The prominent trains from Delhi are Mussoorie Express, Dehradun Shatabdi Express & Jan Shatabdi Express. A taxi from the Haridwar station to our camp costs Rs. 650.

    By Road:

    The road connection to our camp from the New Delhi takes you through Merrut, Muzzafarnagar, Roorkee, Haridwar and Rishikesh. The total distance is about 260 kms and normally takes 6 hrs.

    Payment Terms

    Rates are valid till OCT 30, 2008

    Full payment to be made in advance at the time of booking the trip.

    Payment to be made by Cheque/DD in favour of Alpinestar Holidays. payable at Dehradun.

    Payment for this trip will not be adjusted against any future trips.



    Cancellation policy

    21 days: Full refund (after deducting any expenses that have been incurred for transport, etc.)

    14-20 days: 75% of trip cost will be refunded (after deducting any expenses that have been incurred for transport, etc.)

    7-13 days: 50% of trip cost will be refunded (after deducting any expenses that have been incurred for transport, etc.) 7 days: No refund

    Cost Includes:

    All Meals during the trip.

    Qualified Rafting Guides.

    All safety equipments and rafting gears.

    Rafting Permit.

    Beach Games.

    Accommodation in Swiss alpine tents on twin sharing basis.



    Cost does not Includes:

    Cost incurred on items of personal nature like camera rolls, mineral water, soft drinks e.t.c.

    Transportation to and fro and during the trip.
